About this Speaker

Roy Scott owns and operates Vintage Axe Works out of Warsaw, Kentucky. His passion for axes began with the PBS documentary of Dick Proenneke building a cabin in the Alaskan wilderness with nothing but quality hand tools. Roy fell in love with the historical significance of axes and learned various restoration techniques that would later become the foundation of his company. From Rust to Reborn: Vintage Axe Works restores and customize axes with the utmost care to give customers a “better than new” tool worthy of passing down generation to generation
